On the evening of October 23, in Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa), the Ministry of Public Security's Communications Department held the closing ceremony of the 14th CAND Television - Radio Festival in 2024.
The jury of the 14th CAND Television - Radio Festival selected and awarded 43 gold prizes, 84 silver prizes, 127 bronze prizes and 156 certificates of merit to outstanding works and authors.
The Hanoi City Police Delegation was awarded first prize with 4 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze awards.
Brigadier General Do Trieu Phong - Director of the Public Security Department, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 14th Public Security Television - Radio Festival, assessed that the quality of the works participating in the festival was quite even, carefully invested, creative, and profound.
The forms of expression in the works are rich, creative, impressive, professional and have approached the expression of modern media. That is evidence of the attention of the Party Committees and leaders of the police units and localities to propaganda and press work and the rapid progress and maturity of the radio and television staff of the People's Public Security Forces through each festival.
“In addition to the diverse contest content and activities, this year's festival especially focuses on training, fostering, and in-depth seminars. This festival has contributed to creating motivation and confidence for those working in public security journalism, promptly proposing practical solutions, finding directions and directions for development in the digital age, determined to turn challenges into opportunities, and successfully achieving the goal of mastering technology in the field of journalism and communication of the Public Security Forces" - Brigadier general Do Trieu Phong said.
The festival took place from October 17 to 23 in Nha Trang City with more than 70 delegations with nearly 600 reporters, editors, announcers, and program hosts, representing thousands of people working in visual and spoken journalism for the Public Security Forces and press and radio agencies outside the Public Security Forces.
The Organizing Committee received nearly 800 entries in categories such as: Press works on the topic of security and order, art works and specialized programs, security and order columns on local radio and television, radio works on the topic of security and order, announcers and program hosts, videos on digital platforms and cinematographic works...
The 14th CAND Television and Radio Festival with the theme “Transformation - Creativity - Breakthrough” is increasingly professional with many innovations and creativity, both in content and form, in line with modern media trends.
