The opening ceremony of the 14th CAND Television and Radio Festival in 2024 officially took place on the evening of October 21. This is one of the traditional and important activities of the CAND force, organized by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with Vietnam Television every 2 years.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen acknowledged and commended the preparation efforts of the Public Security Communications Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police and the active participation of local police units across the country.
Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen assessed that this is an opportunity to meet and exchange skills and professional knowledge in television and radio broadcasting, contributing to effectively serving the propaganda work on the task of ensuring security and order, building a clean and strong public security force, and honoring and spreading the image of public security soldiers "forgetting themselves for the country, serving the people".
According to Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen, this festival has many innovations and creations to suit modern media trends in both content and form.
This is also an opportunity to evaluate the quality of People's Public Security television and radio activities for reporters and editors in the People's Public Security force; an opportunity to meet, exchange, share experiences, and constantly innovate thinking in organizing and producing programs in line with modern media trends, meeting the requirements of national digital transformation with the largest number of participating works ever.
This year's festival has the participation of 75 delegations from the Public Security of units, localities and press and media agencies outside the Public Security with 750 works on the topic of security and order; Art works and specialized programs; Security and Order column broadcast on local Radio and Television; videos on digital platforms.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the value of the festival for journalists wearing the uniform of the People's Public Security Forces.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu emphasized that the CAND Television and Radio Festival is a gathering place for the best television and radio works of the Public Security force. Each work vividly depicts each land and people through a profound, humane perspective, imbued with the unique colors of journalists, wearing the uniform of the People's Public Security.
