Tay Ninh - In the first 2 days of the September 2nd holiday, Ba Den Mountain welcomed nearly 40,000 tourists to visit with many attractive activities.

On August 31, according to Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hang, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area, on August 29 and 30 of the National Day holiday September 2, Ba Den Mountain tourist area (Tay Ninh) continued to record a sudden increase in the number of tourists with 39,521 visitors.

According to records, the weather in Tay Ninh is hot, but the air on the mountain peak is cool and pleasant. The convenient travel distance from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces also makes Ba Den Mountain a choice for many families during the holidays.

During this holiday, tourists not only visit and have fun but also have the opportunity to enjoy art programs and Phu Lang pottery exhibitions - a traditional craft village with more than 700 years of history in Bac Ninh.

The exhibition introduces more than 400 sculptures by artist Nguyen Tuan and artisans, of which the most prominent is the collection of 200 little monk statues carrying messages about a peaceful life. Visitors can also directly experience handmade pottery at workshop spaces.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Loan (37 years old, residing in Ben Tre ward, Vinh Long province) said that taking advantage of the holiday, she and her husband took their children to Ba Den mountain for tourism and enjoyed Tay Ninh specialties. According to her, the distance from Ben Tre is not too far on the day of return, she both visited and enjoyed art programs organized in the tourist area.

Notably, from August 30 to September 1, the tourist area organizes a series of 3 leaf markets. Each cable car passenger is given a "proud ticket" to exchange for folk dishes and specialties such as banh it, banh cuon, banh trang, che, xoi, bo kho, and boiled cassava completely free of charge.

The tourist area is also brilliantly decorated with the colors of the national flag. The activity of arranging red flags with yellow stars next to the water pavilion and the flag raising ceremony on September 2nd at the mountain peak square are expected to continue to attract tourists.

According to the Management Board of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area, the number of visitors is forecast to continue to increase in the coming days, leading to crowds at nearby destinations such as Cao Dai Holy See, Dau Tieng Lake and Lo Go - Xa Mat National Park.
