On February 26, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel) jointly launched the 2nd Photo/ video Award "Technology from the heart - Technology with heart".
The award aims to honor the values that technology brings to life; inspire creativity, arouse pride in the breakthrough achievements of Vietnamese technology, contribute to bringing changes in many fields, create a sustainable foundation for the country to develop prosperously in the new era, towards the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the 40th anniversary of the National Doi Moi.
With that criterion, the second season with the theme "Vietnamese Creativity - The Road to Prosperity" will tell meaningful and emotional stories through photos and videos taken in daily life both at home and abroad.
Stimulating the 2nd Photo/ video Award Technology from the Heart, VNA and Viettel hope that every journalist, photographer, filmmaker and all those who are interested, passionate, and attached to technology will devote their passion, time and energy to participating in the award with works that record beautiful, impressive moments of the development and application of science and technology in life, telling stories through images about the unlimited passion of the scientific community.
Thereby, we together spread positive and creative messages to the public to encourage the spirit of dedication of the team of people working in science and innovation, Ms. Vu Viet Trang - General Director of VNA shared.
The works participating in the Award will focus on reflecting the following areas: Technology and production development, helping to increase productivity, product quality, improve national competitiveness; technology and life, helping people live in harmony with nature, bringing a better life;
Technology and connection, enhancing exchanges between regions and countries in a world without gaps; technology and digital transformation, recognizing solutions and achievements in national digital transformation, building a digital government, digital economy and digital citizens; technology and cyber security, creating a safe and healthy cyberspace.
The award is for all Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad (excluding VIETTEL staff). Each author has the right to submit unlimited entries (both don photos, photo reports and videos); only 1 name can be taken according to the ID card or citizen identification card...
The 2nd Photo and Video Award with the theme "Technology from the heart - Technology with heart" has 3 awards for single photos, photo and video reports.
Each prize set has: 1 First prize, worth 50 million VND; 2 Second prizes, worth 40 million VND each; 3 Third prizes, worth 30 million VND each; 5 Consolation prizes, worth 10 million VND each.
Time and address to receive entries from the launch date to June 30, 2025. The closing and award ceremony is scheduled for August 2025.
