On April 18, the Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Preservation Center opened the exhibition "Stories told from ancient books", in response to Hue Festival 2026 - Summer Festival "Shining Citadel" and Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21).
The exhibition introduces a collection of ancient Nguyen Dynasty documents collected and donated by the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum from many individuals who love heritage. Sources of documents reflect many fields such as politics, society, culture and arts, education and examinations, national defense and security under the Nguyen Dynasty.

The displayed contents include royal poetry and literature of Nguyen kings, Nguyen Dynasty culture and art, imperial examination education, Nguyen Dynasty political history and administrative documents.
According to the organizers, the exhibition is an opportunity to express gratitude to individuals who donated artifacts, and at the same time contribute to spreading the value of documentary heritage, encouraging reading habits and developing reading culture in the community.

The exhibition takes place from April 18 to 24 at the Secret Institute, Tam Toa, No. 33 Tong Duy Tan, Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City.
On the same day, the Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Preservation Center coordinated with the author's family to introduce the book "Nguyen Dac Xuan - The Writer with My Hue" at the 2nd floor of the Secret Institute.
