In order to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, in recent days, employees of the Green Park Center of Thuan Hoa and Phu Xuan districts (Hue City) have mobilized workers and vehicles to focus on arranging and transporting trees and flowers to decorate parks along the Huong River, focusing on Ly Tu Trong Park, Thuong Bac Park, and 3.2 Park, where many main spring festival activities take place.
The highlight this year is the snake mascot at the Beer Square (named “Fallen Soldiers Monument”) in front of Hue National School.
This year's snake mascot is as large as the dragon mascot in 2024 (30 meters long), made of a steel frame to ensure stability and sturdiness. In addition, other parts are designed to be suitable and aesthetically pleasing.
Currently, the snake mascot is being crafted and processed by a company at the factory and is expected to be installed between the 13th and 18th, and completed on the 20th of December.
It promises that when completed, this will be an ideal check-in and sightseeing spot for all residents and tourists.
In addition, the leader of the Green Park Center of Thuan Hoa District (Hue City) added that the unit is implementing a project of an outdoor stage combined with a walking path along the Huong River right behind the place where the mascot of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025 is located.
The investment objective of the project is to renovate and create a landscape to maximize the exploitation of the two banks of the Huong River for cultural tourism. The project will be a place for entertainment and to organize major events in Hue City.
