Unforgettable song
On April 30, 1975, the whole nation witnessed the sacred moments of the country, when our army entered the Liberation Palace, completely liberated the South and unified the two northern regions.
To go to the glorious victory, it is impossible not to mention the positive contribution of the cultural and artistic front. During the anti -American resistance war, saving the country, the compositions of revolutionary music thrive, cheering the spirit for soldiers and people.
In the Southern bases, the army and people sang heroic melodies such as "Southern Liberation", "On the surface of Thien Ly", "Xuan Phuong"... Or songs on the way to the battlefield that became anti-American musical heritages such as: "Chiec cak Truong Son", "Quang Binh que ta", "Hanoi Song", "Duong ta di"...
And every time April 30 comes, the whole country joyfully joins in the choir with Nhu co on day of great joy, Dat dong ten vui, Bai ca don don dont, Ham chan non phuong nay, Spring in Ho Chi Minh City, Uncle is walking with us...
In particular, the "unified song" has been successfully performed by many artists. The work is composed by musician Vo Van Di. The time of composing music was before April 30, 1975, he and many artists traveled from the North to the South performed. Therefore, the song has started with songs praising the beautiful scenery of the homeland: "The sea is immense/beautiful as a flower/colored clouds/The ships to the North to the South".
Also in those historic April days, musician Hoang Ha heard that the liberation army of the South was massely advancing towards Saigon, the final moment of the glorious end of the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign. With overwhelming emotions, musician Hoang Ha finished writing the song "Dat Nuoc Chuyen Phuoc Phuoc" on the night of April 26, 1975 .
He later recounted that that night, in a house in Yen Phu, near West Lake, he seemed to see a victorious flag forest in front of him. "Going in the midst of the yellow and red flags flying" is a joy in the soul, a dream of a full day of joy for the nation. The musician wrote with respect and absolute belief in the day the whole country won.
