Amidst the melodies that have gone with the years, the presence of young artists such as Do Hoang Hiep, Anh Tu alongside senior artists such as Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi... has created an emotional continuation of the cultural source.
Singer Do Hoang Hiep could not hide his emotion when sharing his feelings. He confided: "As a child of Vietnam, I feel very honored and proud to stand on stage and sing my voice. Moreover, this is a special program of the Country on the occasion of celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and celebrating the 14th National Congress".
He emphasized that each political - cultural program carries its own sacred meaning, but this performance carries a special weight: "Being able to participate and dedicate my singing voice is a great honor, and also the responsibility of an artist to the Fatherland and the people. I see this not only as a performance, but also as an opportunity to send the belief, affection and aspiration to contribute of today's generation to the new development path of the country.
In harmony with that mentality, singer Anh Tu also affirmed the position of the program in his career. Anh Tu shared: "For me, this is not simply a show. I see it as a great honor and also the contribution of an artist to the Fatherland. When standing on the stage of a political art program, I am very aware of my responsibility. Music at this time is not simply for performance, but a proud bridge to spread faith, gratitude and the spirit of accompanying the country in these special moments.
The highlight of this year's program is the harmony between the master technique of veteran artists and the fire of enthusiasm of young faces. Audiences cannot help but be moved when listening to the generous, exemplary voice of Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, the passion and depth of Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, or the youthful but technical look of Sao Mai champion Lan Quynh.
Sharing about "inspiring" classic works, Do Hoang Hiep said that he has devoted a lot of enthusiasm to two works: "Road to the Future" (musician Tien Minh) and "Hello Liberation Army, welcome Spring of Great Victory" (musician Hoang Van). He revealed: "Both works are arranged in Rock Symphony style. Hiep has also listened, read and researched the work very carefully to express and clearly convey the heroic spirit, along with the hardships and difficulties that our ancestors sacrificed in the war against invaders and the joy when our country won".
Using Rock Symphony - a powerful, dramatic genre - seems to be the perfect choice to refresh revolutionary songs, helping them get closer to the ears of today's young people without losing their inherent solemnity.
One of the issues that the press and the public are concerned about is how to make revolutionary music, which is highly ideological, reach the emotions of young audiences. Before this pressure, Do Hoang Hiep admitted: "Revolutionary songs and works about the Party are often soulful, have ideological depth and require very high vocal technique, especially when the tempo and pitch change continuously. Therefore, before each performance, I always spend a lot of time researching, learning and practicing carefully, to be able to fully convey the spirit of the work, and at the same time reach the emotions of the audience.
On Anh Tu's side, he also expressed his deep views on the career orientation of a young artist in the new era. Answering the question of whether his career is sustainable when rooted in national pride, Anh Tu affirmed: "I think each artist will have their own artistic path, no one is the same. But there is one thing in common that I believe everyone has, which is patriotism.
When art is nurtured from national pride and consciousness of origin, it will have depth and long-term vitality. For me, that is a solid root to not be distracted, so that no matter where you go, do anything, try any genre of music, you will not forget that you are Vietnamese.
