On March 2nd, the Hai Chau Ward Public Service Center (Da Nang City) said that the unit organized a photo contest with the theme "Ao Dai tells cultural stories", to honor the beauty of Vietnamese ao dai associated with heritage works and typical cultural spaces in the area.

The contest is organized on the basis of resolutions and plans of the Central Government and the city on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet sustainable development requirements; and at the same time contribute to the implementation of socio-economic development, national defense and security tasks in 2026 of the locality.
According to the organizers, the purpose of the contest is to spread the image of women in traditional ao dai in typical cultural spaces of Hai Chau and Da Nang city, such as Hai Chau village communal house, Phuoc Ninh lowland cemetery, APEC Park, museums, schools, historical sites... Through this, promote traditional cultural values associated with creative communication and digital transformation, contributing to the development of local tourism in the 2026-2030 period.
The contest officially launched and received entries from February 12 to the end of March 17. From March 18 to March 25, the organizing committee will summarize, evaluate and complete the dossier. The announcement and award ceremony is expected to take place on March 28 at APEC Park.
According to the plan, the selected works will serve propaganda, display, and promotion of local image.
