Musician Duc Phu, Dong Thap province, won the A prize at the 2025 National Music Festival organized by the Vietnam Musicians Association in Ho Chi Minh City, which just concluded.
With the theme: "Music convergence and spread", the festival attracted over 600 musicians and artists from 38 Vietnam Musicians' Associations from provinces and cities across the country to attend.

The festival with 2 main areas: Vietnamese music and singing works, musical instrument solo (Experimental Festival), has created a diverse, vibrant and vibrant musical picture.
This is a music event to honor and spread the artistic values of Vietnam, and at the same time an opportunity to connect, share, and learn experiences in the professional activities of musicians, artists and music lovers across the country.

The festival featured 186 works by many musicians, singers and artists from many festivals, art units and training facilities across the country, introduced through 7 performances. The Organizing Committee awarded 15 works with A prizes; 41 works with B prizes; 14 Gold Medals and 18 Silver Medals for the performances.
In which, musician Duc Phu won the A prize for the work El Ni No - La Ni Na. It is known that musician Duc Phu's real name is Chung Huu Phu, currently the Deputy Director of the Dong Thap Provincial Cultural Center.

Before winning this prestigious award, musicians from the land of the great city of My Tho were awarded many major awards at the national, ministerial, regional and local levels, such as: A Prize of the Music Award of the Vietnam Musicians Association in 2023 with the song: "Dang chung Ap Bac" and this work also brought the musician the 2023 Literature and Arts Award of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations.
Also in 2023, the musician continued to win the A prize at the National Music Festival (January 2023) organized by the Vietnam Musicians Association with the work Huynh Tan Phat "The mirror of the Light forever".

In 2025, with the concert "Dien Bien - Truong Son, the epic of immortality", musician Duc Phu won the B prize for Literature, Arts and Journalism on the theme of armed forces and revolutionary war in the period of 2020-2025 organized by the Ministry of National Defense...
