Accordingly, the alley is located in Group 10C, Tan Thanh Ward, Dien Bien Phu City, impressing with thousands of Party and Fatherland flags being planted, creating a brilliant and solemn scene.
In particular, the small alley suddenly became a "fever" check -in point to coincide with the time when the whole country was heading to the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, reuniting the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and 71 years of the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu (7.5.1954 - 7.5.2025).
According to Lao Dong's research, the alley decorated with flags was implemented by households in Group 10C before the Lunar New Year 2025.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van - a resident of group 10C, Tan Thanh ward - said: "At first, we just thought of simply contributing together to buy flags to hang for the alley to be more beautiful, to add the atmosphere of welcoming the New Year and major national holidays. Everyone responded very unanimously.
However, what the people in group 10C could not expect was the strong spread of this "project". In particular, just as the April 30 and May 7 holidays are approaching, the image of the flower flag alley becomes even more meaningful and attractive to the people of Dien Bien.
I was really surprised to see such a small alley. Every day, there are many people, both locals and tourists, coming here just to take photos, said Ms. Van.
From a quiet alley, this place suddenly became unusually bustling. According to records, the largest number of people poured in to check-in at two time frames: 8-9am and 4-5pm.
When the light sunlight at these times is gentle, it further enhances the brilliant beauty of the flags. During peak hours, visitors have to wait patiently in line for their turn to get a satisfactory photo angle.
Present at the alley, Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang (Thanh Hung commune, Dien Bien district) could not hide her excitement.
"I saw the image of this flag alley on Facebook, it was so beautiful that I decided to take a photo set as a souvenir. I arrived at 3pm, also prepared my ao dai and makeup to suit the setting" - Ms. Hang said.
According to Ms. Hang, this is one of the places with the most flags decorated in Dien Bien for people to take photos on the occasion. Everyone here wants beautiful photos, so they have to wait, the atmosphere is very happy and they feel proud of the Fatherland - Minh Hang said.
The phenomenon of "f flag lane" in Group 10C, Tan Thanh ward not only creates a new and unique check-in spot but also shows the spirit of solidarity, patriotism and national pride of the people.
