Director Trung Lun shared: I want Getting Rich with Ghosts to be a series of films with meticulous quality, not just an entertainment comedy. This time, I have built 6 main characters, each with a different identity and conflict, requiring a lot of depth".
The director is also not afraid to admit that he is "a bit authoritative", when he requires all actors to do difficult scenes, not accepting compromises. Im not just sitting on a monitor. I am willing to jump into the water, teach, and set an example. There were times when I was so tense that some of my co-stars... didn't look at each other. But after all, we all understand that we are doing it for the common quality of the film, director Trung Lun confided.
It is known that Diep Bao Ngoc and director Trung Lun once had tense debates to the point of "not seeing each other's faces".
Regarding this issue, the director born in 1972 shared: "I must confess that there are times when they cause each other to make me and your friends not look at you. Specifically, Diep Bao Ngoc. I really like you, but you are my character. I consider you a man and make you do it. I once said: "If you keep saying that, if Trung Lun comes along in the future, there will be no more Diep Bao Ngoc". Finally, she and I were close to each other.
Diep Bao Ngoc also shared: "Everyone wants to do their best, so of course there will be controversy. The cup is still in the air, don't mention it at work. Everyone is focusing on 200% of their strength. Most of the scenes are very difficult. I don't even know how to swim. When arriving at the scene, the water flowed very strongly. But the actors are just one, and the crew has to work much harder.
Actor Tuan Tran - who plays Minh Gon - said this is one of the most difficult roles in his career: "This character is slow to develop, speaks and communicates differently from normal people. I had to install medical jaw lines, change my style, and do a lot of research to fully convey the character's spirit. Fortunately, Trung and his team created an extremely kind environment for me to transform.
