Developing the economy and tourism from medicinal plants
From the value of Ngoc Linh ginseng, the Tu Mo Rong district government has coordinated with the people to develop the economy and eco-tourism. The district actively connects with major cities, builds resorts, homestays, grows Bulgarian roses, organizes international culinary competitions with ingredients from local medicinal herbs.
People not only earn income from selling ginseng and growing in association with businesses, but also benefit from the increasing number of tourists. Mr. A Xay (Ti Xanh commune) shared: "Many groups of visitors from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Binh Duong come to visit ginseng gardens and buy products by hand at reasonable prices, without having to buy online. Thanks to that, our people have more income from both agriculture and tourism".
