On the afternoon of August 22, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center - VEC (Dong Anh, Hanoi), the opening ceremony of the National Achievement Press Exhibition Center - 80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness took place.
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Lai Xuan Mon; Major General Tong Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang; Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong...

In his opening speech, Mr. Le Hai Binh - Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism - said that the exhibition will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025.
"This is an event of special significance in a series of events to honor history and introduce outstanding achievements of our Party, State and people throughout the process of building, protecting and developing the country over the past 80 years.
At the same time, it affirms the leadership role of the Party, the management and administration of the State, the creativity and efforts of the entire nation in the cause of national construction and development, contributing to promoting the strength of great national unity", said Mr. Le Hai Binh.

The Deputy Minister assessed that the exhibition is not only a place to admire valuable artifacts, documents, and images but also a space to display the country's development achievements over the past 80 years for each citizen, especially the younger generation, to better understand the value of independence and freedom, as well as a deeper understanding of the aspirations, will, and intelligence of Vietnam.
Assessing that press information contributes significantly to the success of the exhibition activities, Mr. Le Hai Binh affirmed that the Exhibition Press Center will create favorable conditions for domestic and foreign reporters to report on the exhibition.

The Press Center for the National Achievement Exhibition of 80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness is a place to guide press activities for all domestic and foreign reporters; provide information, services and handle requirements related to reporters' professional activities.
From August 28 to September 5, the Vietnam Exhibition Center will host a National Achievement Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day. For the first time, ministries - Departments - Branches, 34 provinces and cities, more than 200 large enterprises will gather, creating a comprehensive picture of the glorious and emotional journey of the country. It is estimated that there are nearly 300 units participating in the national exhibition.
