BTS transforms diversely with a series of new images

V BTS continues to affirm its personal artistic mark when officially releasing a new photobook named "TYPE 非".

According to BigHit Music's introduction, "TYPE 非" is a project recording many different slices of Kim Taehyung - an artist who does not accept being framed in any fixed framework or genre. The 278-page hardcover photobook is made with the direct participation of V from idea-setting, construction to photography process, clearly showing the male singer's aesthetic vision and emotional depth.

Compared to the photobook released in 2024 named "TYPE 1" - which focuses on simple and intimate everyday moments - "TYPE 非" shows a clear step forward in V's artistic thinking. This time, he chose to exploit the concept of "non-fixed" - proactively blurring the boundaries between form, identity and expressive genre.

The Chinese word "non" usually means "no", "not" or "oppose". Placed in the context of the project, "TYPE 非" can be understood as a type of non-fixed identity, going beyond conventional classification. This is also the consistent spirit that Taehyung wants to convey: freely experimenting with many different personalities, moods and artistic languages without being limited by familiar images from before.

The photobook is divided into 20 chapters, connected to each other like a seamless story. Through each chapter, viewers can clearly feel V's flexible transformation ability - sometimes contemplative, thoughtful; sometimes strong, rebellious; sometimes carrying classic, sophisticated beauty. The natural transformation between these nuances shows the inner depth and creative bravery of a mature artist.

With "TYPE 非", V not only brings a sophisticated visual product but also continues to expand his artistic range, affirming his personal position in the independent creative journey alongside activities with BTS.
