The program is the opening event for the series of activities of the Week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage", taking place from November 18 to 24.
"Great Unity of Ethnic Groups Festival" brings together the cultural colors of 16 ethnic groups operating every day in the Village, bringing a vivid picture of the spirit of solidarity - the value that has made the strength of the Vietnamese people through many generations.
In the bustling festive atmosphere, visitors can visit traditional houses, enjoy many art performances, introduce the typical cultural beauty of the Northern and Northwestern ethnic groups such as Nung, Tay, Dao, H'Mong, Muong, Kho Mu, Lao, Thai...
In the Nung ethnic group (Thai Nguyen), artisans bring unique Then melodies such as "Celebrating the Youth Union Day", "Our hometown opens a spring festival", along with the Nung folk song to smoothly recreate life in a new and prosperous village. The clear lyrics convey faith in the Party and the aspiration for a peaceful and developed life.

The Tay ethnic group (Thai Nguyen) performed legendary songs with "Soc su thanh Tinh", "Thang soong bao Bac", along with the proud melody "Theo Dang firm tay ta di". Tinh's voice resounded, blending with lyrical voice, creating a unique artistic highlight.
Meanwhile, the Dao people (Ba Vi - Hanoi) impressed with a bustling dance in the performance "The Ring of the Sea". The dance movements and the ringing of bells in harmony are like prayers for a bumper harvest and a peaceful life. The performances "The person giving thanks to the Party" or "The new day bell" show the affection of the people in the highlands for the Party, for the homeland to innovate...

The cultural exchange program lasts all day, not only as a cultural - artistic activity but also a place to connect the community, so that visitors can learn more deeply about the culture, life and customs of ethnic groups.
Artisan Dinh Ngoc Luong (Muong ethnic group, Phu Tho) shared: "Coming to today's festival, we, the Muong ethnic group, want to introduce to the public Muong gongs - a heritage associated with the cultural and spiritual life of the Muong people, symbolizing the community connection and sacredness of Muong village.
Through the performance of the Great Unity Flower, we want to bring the typical dances and songs of the Muong ethnic group to ethnic groups. This is also an opportunity for ethnic groups to meet, exchange, and contribute colors to the great national unity bloc. Thereby, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage, while spreading the message of solidarity, love and together building a rich and strong country".

Thu Hoai (21 years old, Hanoi) shared: "The first time coming to the Cultural Village and attending the Festival, I was really impressed by the rich cultural space and typical, emotional music and folk dance performances here. I clearly feel the spirit of solidarity and national pride spread through each performance and want to learn more about the culture and traditions of ethnic groups".
After the opening day of the Festival, the "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week in 2025 honors the identities of 54 ethnic groups, spreads the value of great solidarity and promotes the image of Vietnamese culture in the context of international integration. The event will take place from November 18 to 24 at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture - Tourism Village (Doai Phuong commune, Hanoi).
