Project to Renovate and Upgrade Provincial Road 315 connecting National Highway 32C with the inter-regional road of Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province (now Lao Cai province) - approved according to Decision No. 586/QD-UBND dated August 28, 2025 of Van Xuan Commune People's Committee.
This project belongs to Group C, with a total investment of 120 billion VND, the project investor is Van Xuan Commune Public Service Center.
According to the reporter's investigation, the Van Xuan Commune Public Service Center recently issued a notice inviting bids for Package No. 07: Construction of the project.
Package No. 07 was publicly bid through the network, with a price of more than 95.5 billion VND from the state budget and other legally supported and mobilized capital sources. The implementation time of this construction package is 360 days.
According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in the first days of January 2026, the above-mentioned section passes through fields and densely populated residential areas of Lam Son commune, former Tam Nong district (now Van Xuan commune).
It can be seen that the traffic volume on the road section is quite large, because many drivers moving from National Highway 32C (Tu My market intersection) to the main inter-regional road and vice versa have passed through this road section (section Km0 - Km2+460 of the inter-regional road under construction).
It can be seen that the section has many seriously degraded locations: asphalt road surface peeling, many potholes, craters, deformed roadsides... Vehicles encounter many difficulties when passing through these locations.
According to the bidding documents, the Project to Invest in Renovation and Upgrade of Provincial Road 315 connecting National Highway 32C with the inter-regional road of Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province - construction of the route section has a total length of 4.63km, starting point at Km22+470 of Provincial Road 315 at My Van High School; ending point at Km27+100 intersection of Provincial Road 315 connecting to the inter-regional road at Km2+460.
The road being renovated and upgraded will have a roadbed width of 15m, of which the roadbed width is 11m, including 10.5m of running road surface (asphalt concrete), grooving width of 0.25m on each side, sidewalk width of 2m on each side... The design speed of the section is 40km/h.
In addition, the bidding package will also construct sidewalks, lighting, drainage, intersections, and turnarounds; synchronous traffic safety systems according to usage requirements.
