According to initial information, at around 1:00 p.m. on April 6, people discovered a motorbike with license plate 61D-xxxxx and a pair of sandals on Hoa An bridge, suspected of someone jumping off the bridge, and the people quickly reported it to the authorities.
Immediately, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team on the river took a canoe with professional rescue forces to search.
At around 3:00 p.m. the same day, the body of the bridge jumping across the riverbed was found and brought ashore to hand over to the authorities for handling. The young man dancing with a ball was identified as N.V.H. (31 years old, living in Binh Duong province).
Previously, at around 10:15 a.m. on April 6, the police force of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police in coordination with the Police of An Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City also successfully rescued a young man who was about to jump off An Hao Bridge to commit suicide and took him to a safe area. The identity of this person was identified as N.T.K (25 years old, from Kien Giang province).
At the police station, K said that because he was sad about his family, he took a bus to An Hao bridge, Bien Hoa city to commit suicide. Currently, An Binh Ward Police are contacting Mr. K's relatives to take him home.
