On the afternoon of June 10, information from the leader of Loc Bac Commune People's Committee said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the commune, causing the death of 2 men.
The two drowning victims, Mr. H (56 years old), residing in residential group 4, Loc Phat ward, Bao Loc city, and Mr. T (71 years old), residing in Loc Tan commune, Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc province, are working for Mr. H's family.
Before that, taking advantage of the lunch break after gardening, Mr. H and Mr. T went together to Dak Ka irrigation lake, in village 2, Loc Bac commune, Bao Lam district to swim.
After seeing the two of them bathing without going up, some other people who were working with them went to the lake to search and found the clothes of these two people left on the embankment of the irrigation lake.
Suspecting that the two men had drowned, the people accompanying them called for help and reported the incident to the authorities.
Upon receiving the report, the People's Committee of Loc Bac commune (Bao Lam district) mobilized police and militia forces to be present at the scene to coordinate with the people to deploy rescue measures.
After more than 1 hour of searching, the authorities of Loc Bac commune and local people found the bodies of 2 drowning people.
Currently, the authorities have completed the procedures to hand over the bodies of the two victims to their families for funeral arrangements, and clarified the cause of the incident.
