On April 19, in Na Bay village, Bang Phuc commune, Cho Don district, the People's Committee of Bac Kan province held the Inauguration Ceremony of the project to build the Bac Kan city road - Ba Be lake connecting to Na Hang, Tuyen Quang and a number of traffic projects.
The Bac Kan City - Ba Be Lake connecting to Na Hang road project has a total investment of more than VND 3,700 billion, a length of 37km, a scale of a grade III mountainous road, and a road surface of 8m wide.
This is a strategic inter-provincial connecting axis, contributing to shortening travel time from Bac Kan city to Ba Be lake and creating conditions for developing highland tourism.
For the Quang Khe - Khang Ninh (Ba Be) route project, the length is nearly 18km, worth 439 billion VND. The project is an important link in the transportation network serving Ba Be Lake tourism.
The project to build traffic infrastructure in the area around Ba Be Lake, with a total investment of 185 billion VND. The project includes routes and bridges in the lake area. In addition to completing the transportation system, the project also creates conditions to attract investment and expand local development space.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province Nguyen Dang Binh affirmed that these are 3 key projects of the province. The project not only has an important meaning in socio-economic development, ensuring security and defense but is also a testament to the spirit of innovation, opening up opportunities for integration and development of Bac Kan in the new period.
