On September 3, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province inspected the traffic congestion situation in Van Trung Industrial Park and Quang Chau Industrial Park.
According to the report of the Department of Construction, in recent times, the unit has coordinated with relevant authorities to implement many solutions to ensure traffic safety and order in Van Trung Industrial Park and Quang Chau Industrial Park, thereby causing many positive changes in traffic safety and order.
However, traffic congestion in the above two industrial parks still occurs frequently during peak hours.
Directly inspecting the actual traffic situation in Van Trung and Quang Chau Industrial Parks, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that solving traffic congestion in the above two Industrial Parks is an urgent task, and immediate solutions must be given to immediate problems when fundamental and long-term solutions have not been implemented.
In particular, traffic organization and regulation is very important, must be implemented first.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requested the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Police, Nenh Ward and related units to urgently and carefully survey the methods of traffic organization, regulation and traffic flow to achieve efficiency.
Along with that, immediately deploy the installation of a camera system for fines from the traffic safety budget; assign Nenh ward to conduct a survey of locations and camera placement points immediately to complete before October 30, 2025. The Department of Finance advises on how to allocate funds.
Regarding the intersection of Sen Ho and Truc Tay intersections that often have conflicts leading to common congestion in the two industrial parks, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested implementing it in the following way if it is a rural transport project, if necessary, use support for Nenh ward to expand the concrete road to limit vehicles from nearby worker villages to go to this intersection area.
Requesting Nenh ward to coordinate with the Department of Construction to study, report, and propose implementation methods before September 30, 2025.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also proposed to focus on expanding the service road at the foot of Nhu Nguyet Bridge. The Department of Finance advises on providing career resources to traffic maintenance sources for immediate implementation. The Department of Construction immediately deploys consultation and survey steps to start construction by early 2026.
For the Evergreen social housing overpass, to relieve all connections between the two industrial parks and residential areas, avoiding traffic conflicts, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed to include it in the province's public investment portfolio for the period 2021 - 2025, through the Provincial People's Council before September 30, 2025 and focus on the work in 2025 for construction from the first quarter of 2026.
The remaining road section of more than 3km will be put into operation for the Quang Chau 2 Industrial Park expansion project, connecting within the Industrial Park. Assign the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Project Management Board to implement the selection of investors as quickly as possible; then focus on site clearance and immediate construction to maximize efficiency.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province suggested that all work and projects implemented to solve traffic congestion in the two industrial parks must be included in the list of "special priority green streams" projects to create the most open mechanism when performing work.
