The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch on the appraisal of the investment policy for the Nam Son -ship Linh New Urban Area project, Bac Ninh city (now Nam Son ward,ship Linh ward, Bac Ninh province).
Official dispatch sent to the Ministries of Construction, Agriculture and Environment; Industry and Trade; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Health; Home Affairs; Education and Training.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province is currently organizing the appraisal and approval of the investment policy for the Nam Son -ship Linh New Urban Area project.
According to Section 4 of the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch on reviewing the approved Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, it is stipulated that: "For projects related to national planning, regional planning, planning with technical and specialized nature under the approval authority of the Prime Minister but not yet approved by competent authorities, the Provincial People's Committee is responsible for seeking written opinions from the planning organization before considering approval or deciding on the project investment policy".
To carry out the work of appraising the project's investment policy in accordance with the provisions of law, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province would like to send the Project Investment Policy Proposal dossier and request the Ministries to give their opinions on the suitability of the project investment policy proposal compared to the plans being prepared by the Ministries, under the authority of the Prime Minister according to the above regulations.
Bac Ninh is one of the industrial capitals in the North, concentrating a series of FDI giants in the fields of technology equipment manufacturing, electronics, and semiconductors.
In recent years, Bac Ninh has also become the destination of a series of large investors in the real estate sector.
Currently, 7 new urban area projects with a total investment of nearly 105,000 billion VND are being accelerated in this locality.
Transport infrastructure in Bac Ninh is changing strongly. Gia Binh airport in Xuan Lai commune and Gia Binh town, Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province has just started construction at the end of last year.
The Prime Minister agreed to upgrade the construction of Gia Binh airport to international scale, from level 3C to level 4E.
Hanoi City has also agreed on the plan to build a nearly 50km, 120m wide road connecting Gia Binh airport with the center of the capital.
