Bach Long Vi Special Zone has just issued a quick report on the implementation of storm No. 9 prevention and control as of 8:00 a.m. on September 25.
At 8:00 a.m. on September 25, Bach Long Vi area will have strong North-Northwest winds of level 6, gusting to level 7, light rain.
Through grasping the situation, counting the number of vehicles operating in the sea area and taking shelter at Bach Long Vi port area. Accordingly, the total number of ships and boats operating and anchored in the Bach Long Vi area is 122 vehicles, of which 113 ships and boats with 338 workers are in the port area. The special- zone fishing boat is 66 with 66 workers, currently 9 under the port, bringing 57 vehicles to shore. According to the observation of Radar Station 490/HQ, 9 transport ships were discovered operating 18-40 nautical miles from Bach Long Vi Island.



In Cat Hai special zone, the special forces police force has strictly maintained a 24/7 duty regime, mobilizing 100% of the troops. The unit has advised the People's Committees of the special zones to establish 11 working groups in 11 areas, including representatives of departments, offices, Border Guard forces, secretaries, village heads and grassroots security forces. 173 officers, soldiers and security forces at the grassroots level supported people to reinforce their houses and evacuate households to safety.
The entire special zone has 784 vehicles/1,785 workers anchored safely, with no more ships operating at sea. By 8:00 p.m. on September 24, 444 people in vulnerable areas (6 policies, 74 elderly people, 1 woman, 15 children, 348 workers); 2,048 workers evacuated from Tran Chau, Gia Luan, Lan Ha Bay to safe places. 218 tourists (165 international visitors) were arranged to stay safely. The special zone has pruning 215/1,056 trees to prevent them from falling.
