According to Ha Tinh Power Company, storm No. 5 broke 2 locations of the 110kV power grid; 70 medium voltage power grid poles were broken and tilted; 300 low voltage poles were broken, cracked, 20,000m of wire was broken; The Ky Anh Power Management Team completely damaged the corrugated iron roof. The total damage is estimated at about 8 billion VND.
As of 9:00 a.m. on August 26, 2/18 of the 110kV grid lines were without power; 1/13 of the transformer stations were without power.
The medium and low voltage grid has been restored, while 69/88 lines are without power (80%), 35 transformer stations are affected by the storm, while 3520/4110 transformer stations have lost power ( 90%); restore 56,606 customers affected by the storm, while 452,688/491,497 customers are without power (90%).
Currently, 64/69 wards and communes in the whole province are completely without power.

Ha Tinh Power Company is focusing all its human resources on checking and fixing the problem to restore power to customers in the area.
The company received support from 8 companies in the Vietnam Electricity Group with 302 people and vehicles to overcome the situation.
It is expected that by 9:00 p.m. on August 26, 100% of important loads in the area including the Provincial Party Committee; Provincial People's Committee, Hospitals, Police, Army and headquarters of wards and communes in the whole province will be supplied with electricity.
By 15:00 on August 28, the power supply will be restored to 100% of customers.
