On January 19, the Criminal Police Department of Son La Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with Muong Chanh Commune Police to successfully break up a special case, catching 10 subjects red-handed gambling in the form of playing xoc dia and losing with money in Me village, Muong Chanh commune.
The arrested subjects include: Vi Van Hung (born 1980), Leo Van Quyen (born 1992), Lo Son Hai (born 1990), Hoang Van Quyen (born 1990), Lo Van Ut (born 1985), Ha Quoc Khanh (born 2000), Lo Van Nguyen (born 1987), Lo Van Cong (born 1998), all residing in Muong Chanh commune; Vuong Quoc Dinh (born 1981), residing in Muong Hung commune, Son La province and Truong Xuan Quang (born 1960), residing in Vinh Loc ward, Nghe An province.
Exhibits seized included 24.51 million VND, 1 set of porcelain bowls and plates, 4 bamboo staffs and some related exhibits.
At the investigating agency, the subjects admitted to gambling. Currently, the Criminal Police Department of Son La Provincial Police is continuing to investigate and handle according to the provisions of law.
