On January 15, speaking with Lao Dong newspaper reporters, Mr. Tran Van Huyen - Executive Director of the joint venture contractor for package 21 (Lizen Joint Stock Company) said that the contractor is starting to construct the first kilometers of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
According to Mr. Huyen, the volume of plastic carpet today (January 15) is 600 tons of material, equivalent to a length of about 200m/2km.
According to Mr. Huyen, due to the more favorable weather, the contractor has mobilized all motorbikes, equipment and workers to work in 3 shifts, 4 shifts continuously day and night to speed up the progress.
The contractor also said that by April 30, 2025, it will basically complete the work volume, the section deployed by Lizen Joint Stock Company.
Package No. 21 of component project 1 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway passes through 5 communes and towns of Long Thanh district including: An Phuoc commune, Long Duc commune, Long Thanh town, Loc An commune, Long An commune.
Package No. 21 worth more than 1,400 billion VND, the section from Km6+200 to Km16+000 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway is constructed by a consortium (Lizen Joint Stock Company, Hai Dang Joint Stock Company, Construction Joint Stock Company 368 and Construction Corporation No. 1), the contract implementation time is 915 days.
Component 1 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway is 16km long through Dong Nai province, starting from National Highway 1 (Bien Hoa City) and ending at Long An Commune (Long Thanh District).
The project includes 2 construction packages: Package No. 18 (Km0+000 - Km6+200) through Bien Hoa City is implementing 6 construction projects and Package No. 21 (Km6+200 - Km16+000) through Long Thanh District is organizing 15 construction projects.
Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, passing through Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces, is nearly 54km long and will start construction in June 2023.
In Dong Nai province, component project 1 and component project 2 will be constructed, and in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, component project 3 will be constructed.
In phase 1, the project is invested in a scale of 4-6 lanes (depending on each route section).
Total investment is more than 17,800 billion VND.
