On December 9, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a document confirming the area, capacity, volume, method, equipment, plan and environmental protection in the exploitation of minerals for filling materials in Phuoc Binh commune, Long Thanh district to serve the construction of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project.
Accordingly, the area of land filling material exploitation of Central Construction Group Joint Stock Company (contractor for component project 2) in Phuoc Binh commune, Long Thanh district has an area of more than 13 hectares.
The total amount of soil allowed to be exploited as filling material for the construction of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project at this location is nearly 1 million m3 of soil.
Expiry date is December 31, 2025.
Previously, Dong Nai province also granted a license to Lizen Joint Stock Company, the contractor of component project 1, to exploit fill soil at a location in Tam Phuoc ward, Bien Hoa city to serve the construction of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, with a reserve of about 200,000 m3.
According to calculations, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project needs more than 5.4 million m3 of fill soil for construction.
