At the Signing Ceremony, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan and Directors of Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital (Hanoi) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on medical support cooperation for the period 2025 - 2030.
Accordingly, Bach Mai Hospital will support Bac Ninh province in: Application of information technology, digital transformation; training and technology transfer; highly qualified human resources; consulting on high-tech medical services.
Viet Duc Friendship Hospital will support Bac Ninh province in: Training and technology transfer; highly qualified human resources; Telehealth application; consulting on the development of specialties, specializations and specialized medical services.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, highly appreciated the social security work of Bac Ninh province, in which the health sector has always received attention and investment from the province.
Minister Dao Hong Lan emphasized: This is the first time the Ministry of Health has sent "two generals" from two specialized, special-class hospitals to cooperate in supporting the health care of a province at the same time.
According to Minister Dao Hong Lan, improving the quality of healthcare in Bac Ninh not only serves the health care of Bac Ninh people but also serves thousands of workers and experts from other places who come to work, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan sincerely thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Health, the Directors of the two hospitals, Professors, Doctors, and Scientists for their affection and attention to Bac Ninh province, especially in the field of Health.

Currently, Bac Ninh has achieved the health sector targets for the 2020 - 2025 term. However, in addition to the achieved results, the Bac Ninh health sector still faces many difficulties and challenges, especially in developing high technology and specialized technology.
