Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital Project started construction in October 2023 on a total area of over 16 hectares in Luong Vuong Commune (Tuyen Quang City). The scale is 1,000 beds, including all items according to the standards of a grade I provincial general hospital.
The project has a total investment of 1,796 billion VND from the central and local budgets. This is also the largest and most modern hospital in Tuyen Quang province to date.
Recorded on October 15, after 1 year of construction, the specialized buildings of this billion-dollar hospital project have begun to appear. One of the first 4 buildings has been topped out, and some other items are in the foundation stage.
At the project site, hundreds of workers and many equipments were mobilized. Main and auxiliary items were constructed simultaneously, ensuring progress.
A representative of Thanh Hung Investment and Construction Company Limited said that the unit is in charge of constructing the project's infrastructure. Up to now, the ground leveling has been basically completed, and the surrounding walls, main and secondary gates, and internal roads are still under construction.
Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital is identified as a provincial-level final hospital, with full facilities such as examination rooms, outpatient and inpatient treatment, emergency room, Nuclear Physics Department... When completed, the project will replace the old General Hospital, meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of the people.
Speaking to reporters, a leader of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Department of Health said that the Provincial General Hospital project was assigned to the Department of Construction as the investor, to be implemented in 2 phases. Phase 1 is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 and handed over to the Department of Health for exploitation and use.
