The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will have a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2. Including the Exhibition of the Agricultural and Environmental Sector at the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day held at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi.
Speaking at the Information Conference on activities, Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien shared: "With the achievements along the history of the country, especially in the 40 years of renovation, we will try our best to depict the policies of the Party and State to develop agriculture and the environment throughout history. This will also be a driving force for the Agriculture and Environment sector to increasingly develop in line with the policy of Agriculture as a pillar of the economy, helping to promote the country's advantages".
The Agriculture and Environment Exhibition is one of the major and key activities in 2025 of the industry to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (02.9.1945-02.9.2025) and the 80th anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment Industry Traditional Day (14.11). This is an opportunity to introduce and honor the great achievements that the Agriculture and Environment sector has achieved in 80 years of formation and development.
The exhibition will be held in 5 main thematic spaces including: Origin and development (1945-1986), Innovation, integration (1986 - 2020) and outstanding achievements in the period of 2020 - 2025; Environmental protection, resources and forestry; Future vision "Technology innovation, green future combined with experience" and International exchange and global integration.
In addition, the Ministry will also organize an Exhibition of handicrafts and OCOP products at the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day. The exhibition will be held with 2 contents: Exhibition of handicrafts and OCOP products and organize a space to promote, connect, exchange and experience OCOP products.
In particular, the OCOP handicraft and Products Exhibition will demonstrate the strong transformation of the handicraft industry when integrating with modern design thinking and creative trends. The exhibition is also an open space for visitors to directly experience, feel and interact with handicrafts through professional activities.
Visitors can also experience Vietnamese cuisine, experience unique OCOP products, recreate a rural market space with booths introducing unique OCOP culinary products of Vietnam for visitors to experience on-site.
The exhibition activities will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh commune, Hanoi.
In particular, on this occasion, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also organized an online exhibition area for the Agriculture and Environment sector and an online exhibition area for handicrafts and OCOP products. Online exhibitions are designed into a modern, multi-dimensional digital space, integrating virtual reality (VR) technology, 3D simulation, online interaction. 2 online exhibitions will take place within 1 year from August 28, 2025 - August 28, 2026
In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also launched a digital content creation contest "Proud of Vietnamese Agriculture" and Vietnamese Agricultural Pride Week. The Agricultural Trade Promotion Center will organize a series of 5 live livestream sessions with the theme at the exhibition space.
