On November 1, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot Ward (Dak Lak Province) said that the unit had directed departments, offices, functional agencies and heads of villages and residential groups in the area to review the situation of children begging and selling street food in public places.
According to records, recently there have been cases of underage children wandering around selling street vendors in areas with many eateries, restaurants, cafes and the central area of 10/3 Square.
Faced with the above reality, the People's Committee assigned the Ward Police to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to investigate and clarify the act of exploiting and exploiting children's labor and strictly handle violators.
The ward police verify cases with signs of taking advantage, enticing, brokering, forcing or profiting from allowing children to sell street products, to take measures to handle or propose handling according to their authority.
The Ward People's Committee also assigned the Department of Culture and Social Affairs to review and prepare records for cases of children wandering and street vending to take care of and manage at social protection centers.
