Ca Mau starts construction of 3 key projects on National Day September 2nd

Three projects started on the occasion of National Day September 2nd include Ganh Hao river embankment, 3-Rice Grain Park and the headquarters of the Ca Mau Provincial Military Command.

On August 25, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province said that on the occasion of National Day 2/9 this year, the province will organize the commencement of 3 key projects.

In which, the Ganh Hao town riverbank embankment project section G6 is implemented in Ganh Hao commune, with the starting point at Rach Coc and the ending point at the river junction of the old Ganh Hao town. The project has a total investment of 480 billion VND, invested by the Ca Mau Provincial Agricultural Works Project Management Board.

The project belongs to group B, building a 2,500m long embankment line to prevent landslides and protect residents. The project has a peak embankment elevation of +3.5m, a vertical wall structure combined with an inclinated roof to prevent waves from overflowing, implemented in the period 2025 - 2029.

Accompanying items include a 4m wide pedestrian corridor, a 4m wide operating management road, a drainage system, solar lights and green trees. The project is expected to contribute to protecting the lives and property of the State and people, while improving the environment and landscape of the riverside area.

The second project is the construction of the Three Rice Grains Park in Vinh Loi commune, with a total investment of nearly 21.5 billion VND from the State budget, invested by the Ca Mau Provincial Construction Project Management Board. The project belongs to group C, implemented in the period 2026 - 2027.

The park is invested in items such as leveling ground, internal roads and yards, water supply and drainage system, electricity supply, flower beds, green trees, public toilets and some auxiliary items.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, the project aims to create a public space for entertainment, contributing to improving community life and building a civilized and modern locality.

Also on the occasion of National Day September 2, the Ca Mau Provincial Military Command organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the Project to build the headquarters of the Ca Mau Provincial Military Command.
