Lam Dong - The serious landslide on Min slope, Lam Dong after heavy rain has greatly affected traffic and threatened the safety of people.

After many days of heavy rain, the 58m high positive slope on the Min slope in Langbiang - Da Lat ward, Lam Dong suddenly collapsed, with rocks and soil pouring down, burying the road surface, causing congestion and danger to people.

According to records, many locations of negative and positive slopes have eroded, with "froghoaxes" appearing, and there is a risk of further landslides. People in Pang Tien village had to clear the road themselves when landslides occurred, worried about being unsafe when traveling.

The drainage ditch system on the route has not been built synchronously, many locations are damaged, making the landslide more serious.

Min slope (1.5km long, 5.5m wide) was opened in early 2024 after the Da Dang - Dakomo Hydropower Plant blocked the old approach. However, the road is steep, the road surface is gravel, rough, and often unsafe.

People have petitioned many times but currently the authorities have only put up warning signs, there is no long-term solution.
