Almost lost everything because of the invitation "going to Korea with a salary of 50 million VND/month"
Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh (character's name has been changed, 23 years old, Tuyen Quang) shared that in early November, he received a call from a person claiming to be a seasonal labor export broker to Korea. This person said firmly, going to Korea is 100% graduated, high salary, quick procedures, just need to pay a few million VND in advance to complete the application.
"At first, I was skeptical, but they talked very confidently, and were clear about my situation and wishes. After that day, they formed a Zalo chat group of 5 people, all of whom expressed their desire to go to Korea like me. Later, I learned that there were at least 2 people in the scams ring" - Mr. Tinh recalled. In the group, these people continuously urged him to send his citizen identification card, 3-4 photos and personal information to "submit to the Korean owner". After only a few hours, they informed him that his Korean employer had agreed to receive and send a Korean recruitment form with the name of the hotel and labor farm.
Next, they asked him to make friends with another Zalo account. This person reported a fee of 3-10 million VND, and the deposit was transferred before the reservation could be made. "They sent the documents very real, so I transferred the money right away" - Mr. Tinh said.
Not stopping there, after being informed that he had passed away, the broker continued to ask Mr. Tinh to open a bank account in his name, saying that the Korean side needed to verify his finances to prepare documents and asked him to deposit at least 250 million VND in that account and keep it for 24-48 hours.
