At the conference, representatives of the Border Guard Command of Cao Bang province announced decisions on the organization and staffing of Tra Linh International Border Gate Border Guard Station under the Border Guard Command of Cao Bang province.
Along with that are decisions to change the name of party organizations and mass organizations of units according to regulations.
Speaking to assign tasks, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ta Van Tuan - Commander of the Border Guard Command of Cao Bang province - emphasized that upgrading Tra Linh Border Gate Border Guard Station is of great significance.
This meets the requirements of managing and protecting national borders in the new situation; and at the same time contributes to promoting socio-economic development, strengthening border defense diplomacy, and ensuring national defense and security in border areas.
The Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command requested officers and soldiers of Tra Linh International Border Gate Border Guard Station to quickly stabilize the organization, promote the spirit of solidarity, improve the quality of border gate management, entry and exit control, and maintain national border sovereignty and security.
Thus, up to now, Cao Bang province has 2 border gate posts upgraded to international standards, including: Tra Linh International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Ta Lung International Border Gate Border Guard Station. Along with that are dozens of border guard posts guarding and protecting the border.
Compared to the northern border provinces, Cao Bang is the province with the longest common border and the most common border markers with friendly China. The whole province has over 333 km of border and 634 border markers.
