Ca Mau - Dat Mui Expressway will not worry about sand shortage

Ca Mau - The Ca Mau - Dat Mui Expressway Project Management Board said that the project is not too worried about lack of sand and stone. Contractors are urgently implementing when the site is available.

On December 16, Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee - and the working delegation visited, visited, encouraged and urged engineers and workers to construct the Ca Mau - Cai Nuoc component project of the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway project.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Duy Cuong - Deputy Director of Truong Son Nam Board, Truong Son Construction Corporation, the Board is currently focusing on implementing items such as: service roads, auxiliary works, mixing stations, bored piles, girder casting, sand pumping at some locations to serve the project construction.

Regarding the source of materials for the project, up to now, it has ensured the source of sand for filling and stone. At the same time, joint venture contractors are implementing the planned items, in which the bridges across the Song Doc are preparing to construct bored piles.

At the meeting, Mr. Tang Vu Em - Director of the Land Fund Development Center of Ca Mau province - said that the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level has approved 40 compensation and support plans for 1,644 households and 5 organizations with a total amount of over 1,547 billion VND, handing over 679/713 hectares of land, reaching a rate of 95%.

As of December 15, 8 communes (Ho Thi Ky, Khanh Binh, Hung My, Cai Nuoc, Phu My, Nguyen Viet Khai, Dat Moi and Dat Mui) have handed over 100% of the site. Luong The Tran commune handed over nearly 98%, Khanh An commune handed over 76%.

At the survey, Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee - highly appreciated the efforts of the contractor and the unit that have implemented the construction well since the project was started.

He affirmed that the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway project is an important project, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Ca Mau province in particular and the Mekong Delta region in general. Therefore, right from the start of the project, the leaders of Ca Mau province have paid great attention and created the best conditions for the contractor and construction unit to implement the project items in the locality. The Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee directed functional sectors and localities to promote the implementation of mobilizing people to support the policy, and promptly hand over the site to the contractor.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee hopes that contractors and construction units will continue to focus on human resources and construction equipment to ensure progress, quality and labor safety.
