The Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway Project (section Km19+00 - Km53+00 in Hoa Binh province) is a Group A project with a total investment of nearly 10,000 billion VND, the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works of Hoa Binh province is the Project Investor.
According to the reporter's update at the National Bidding Network, the project investor recently publicly posted the notice of bidding for Package XL-04: Construction and installation of foundation, road surface and works on the route Km50+260 - Km53+000. The total value of the package is more than 660 billion VND.
Previously, there were 19 bidding packages in the announcement of contractor selection plans, including supervision consulting packages, environmental monitoring consulting packages, traffic safety inspection consulting, construction quality inspection consulting; survey consulting, construction drawing design for bidding packages; construction insurance... In particular, there have been 4 construction packages with great value, including:
XL-01 package: Construction and installation (including survey, construction drawing design) of the roadbed, road surface and works on the section from Km19+000 - Km40+750 (except for 2 tunnel works and the road surface, works on the section from Km34+990 - Km37+87.870 and the section from Km37+798.400 - Km38+911.540) - worth more than 1,906 billion VND.
XL-02 package: Construction and installation (including surveying, designing construction drawings) of 2 tunnels and foundation items, road surface, works on the section from Km34+990 - Km37+87.870 and the section from Km37+798.400 - Km38+911.540 - worth more than 1,019 billion VND.
XL-03 package: Construction of Hoa Son bridge and foundation items, road surface and works on the route from Km40+750 - Km50+260 - worth more than 5,502 billion VND.
XL-04 package: Construction of foundation, road surface and works on the section Km50+260 - Km53+000 - worth more than 660 billion VND as mentioned above.
Of the 4 construction packages mentioned above, 3 bidding packages XL-01, XL-02, XL-03 have completed the selection of contractors. Particularly with the latest bidding package XL-04, in the coming time, after the bidding results, the contractor will deploy the construction of about 2.74 km of highways through Tan Thanh commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province and Chieng Yen commune, Van Ho district, Son La province.
The Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway construction investment project (Son La province), including a section passing through Hoa Binh province, is invested and built with the goal of meeting transportation needs, connecting economic and political centers with the Northwestern provinces, economic zones, national tourist areas, industrial parks, serving the goal of promoting socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security, contributing to increasing the competitiveness of the economy.
Along with that, it helps connect neighboring areas and along the route to facilitate socio-economic development for these areas, especially the development of Hoa Binh Lake National Tourist Area and Moc Chau National Tourist Area when conditions for convenient traffic connection and other projects are invested here; connecting with the main areas of Hoa Binh province and Son La province, changing the status of National Highway 6 as the only road.
