A 20m high breeze with an original diameter of nearly one meter in Thanh Da residential area (old Binh Quoi ward, Binh Thanh district) was tilted after a major thunderstorm 5 days ago, creating large cracks on the ground and threatening the safety of dozens of surrounding households.

Recorded by Lao Dong at lot 10, Thanh Da residential area on July 25, the ancient crab tree in the motorbike parking area is leaning to one side. The tree's base had risen about 40 cm above the ground, causing the surrounding soil to crack, creating many dangerous open cracks, right next to the entrance to the residential area.

The incident was determined to have occurred 5 days ago, when Ho Chi Minh City suffered a thunderstorm with strong tornadoes.
Mr. Tin, a resident living here, recounted: "At that time, I heard a loud noise of teeth, and the roots of the trees began to rise from the ground. Fortunately, it has not collapsed, otherwise it will definitely crush motorbikes and surrounding houses".
After discovering the danger, local people proactively put up ropes, placed warning signs and banned access to the area to avoid risks.

According to local residents, this type of bonsai has been planted for more than 30 years, with leaves reaching the 5th floor of the residential areas. It is worth mentioning that before the tilted incident, the trees had absolutely no signs of pests or rotting.

A representative of the People's Committee of Binh Quoi Ward confirmed that the guona tree is located in the residential area and is not under the management of Ho Chi Minh City Green Park Company. The locality has urgently contacted the authorities for handling. At the same time, the ward also recommends that people keep a safe distance, avoid approaching dangerous areas to ensure safety.
