On September 1st, functional units are investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire at fishing boat number KH-92189 of Mr. Tran Quang Van's family (born in 1978, residing in Huong Long residential group, Ba Ngoi ward, Khanh Hoa province).
Previously, at 6:27 PM on August 31, Command Information Center 114 received a report from people about a boat fire anchored in Cam Ranh Bay, near Thanh My Tourist Area, Cam Ranh ward.
Immediately after receiving the dispatch order from the leaders of the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) - Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 2 dispatched 2 fire trucks and 13 officers and soldiers to the scene.
Through reconnaissance, functional forces determined that the burned boat was anchored about 100m from the shore, in a shallow water area.
The fire command assigned officers and soldiers to deploy formations to spray foam from fire trucks, and at the same time use floating pumps to pump seawater to organize firefighting.
By nearly 8 pm on the same day, the fire was controlled. Firefighters continued to spray water to cool down, preventing the risk of fire returning.
At about 8:31 PM, the fire was completely extinguished.
The fire did not cause any casualties. Currently, functional agencies are urgently investigating the cause of the fire, and at the same time statistics on property damage.
