The fire broke out at a traditional oriental medicine pharmacy on Tam Giang Street (Hai Duong City). According to local residents, the fire broke out at around 5 p.m., causing black smoke to billow from the second floor of the house.
Some residents of Tam Giang neighborhood believe that the initial cause may have been an electrical short circuit, causing the fire to spread to items inside the house. The fire broke out while someone was sleeping in the house. The incident attracted many people standing around watching in worry.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force quickly deployed forces and specialized vehicles to the scene. The homeowner was safely brought out of the house by the authorities.
The Tam Giang street area (Tran Hung Dao ward, Hai Duong city) was blocked off, preventing vehicles from entering to avoid traffic congestion. The fire was brought under control at around 6pm the same day.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
