Gia Lai - The fire caused by an electrical short circuit burned down a stilt house, 4 people were lucky to escape death.

On the afternoon of July 9, Mr. Ho Van Thao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Tuc commune, Gia Lai province, said that a fire had just burned down a stilt house of a resident.

Initial information, at around 2am the same day, when Mr. Rach Ngai's family (residing in Ia Rnho village, Phu Tuc commune) of 4 people were sleeping, the fire suddenly broke out and spread quickly, covering the entire stilt house.

Hearing the screams, villagers and authorities arrived to help put out the fire. However, due to strong winds and wooden stilt houses, the fire broke out, burning down the entire house of more than 170 square meters.

By 3am, the fire was under control and did not spread to the house next door. The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties.

Currently, Phu Tuc Commune People's Committee has a plan to support and help the family rebuild the roof.
