To repair the damage and degradation of provincial road 547, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has decided to allocate more than 22.3 billion VND to repair the sections Km77+200 - Km79+152, Km80+300 - Km81+150, Km106+630 - Km108+250 and Km109+275 - Km110+951.
The funding for this project is drawn from the road and inland waterway maintenance budget of Ha Tinh province in 2024.
The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province assigned the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor) and the Department of Planning and Investment (appraisal and proposal agency) to be responsible for the contractor selection plan to ensure compliance with the provisions of the 2023 Bidding Law and other relevant regulations.
The contractor selection will begin in November 2024. The repair project will be implemented within 8 months from the date of contractor selection.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article “Ha Tinh coastal road is degraded and full of potholes” reflecting that the coastal road Xuan Hoi - Thach Khe - Vung Ang (Provincial Road 547) is more than 60 km long with a total investment of 1,500 billion VND and has degraded, with many potholes, making it unsafe for vehicles.
In particular, the severely damaged sections are located from Cam Linh commune (Cam Xuyen) to Ky Bac commune (Ky Anh district).
The coastal route Xuan Hoi - Thach Khe - Vung Ang was approved for upgrading by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province in 2017 with a total length of 62km and a total investment of 1,500 billion VND.
This coastal road upgrade project is invested by the Ha Tinh Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
