Hanoi requests to strengthen security, order and support for people and tourists during the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh has just issued a telegram on strengthening the work of ensuring security, order, environmental sanitation and supporting people and tourists to participate and watch the activities of the Commemoration Ceremony, parade, and parade of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

The document stated that according to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather in Hanoi during the peak days of the National Day holiday on September 2 will be complicated, with local heavy rain, affecting people's travel, daily activities and safety, especially in the Ba Dinh Square area - where many tourists and people gather to participate in celebration activities.

To proactively and promptly support people and tourists, while ensuring safety, order and environmental sanitation, contributing to the successful organization of the Commemoration Ceremony, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested:

Directors of the Department of Education and Training, heads of agencies, offices, Chairmen of People's Committees of wards and communes directed educational institutions, cultural houses, community centers, headquarters of agencies, and State offices to open, arrange stops, take shelter in rain, sun shelters, and personal hygiene to serve the people and tourists on the routes that the parade and parade groups pass through, ensuring friendliness, hospitality, and hospitality.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment directs units to maintain environmental sanitation, coordinate with local authorities to arrange standing forces, collect generated waste, and maintain hygiene at openings for people to take shelter in the rain.

The City Police directed forces to increase patrols, maintain security and order, prevent encroachment on roads and sidewalks, and ensure traffic safety on the routes of parades and parades.

Requesting people and tourists to practice a civilized lifestyle, strictly comply with regulations, maintain order and environmental sanitation; coordinate with local authorities and functional forces in the process of participating and watching the Commemoration Ceremony, parade, and parade to celebrate National Day 2.9.
