To have a seat to watch the preliminary parade on major streets in Hanoi at this time, many restaurants, eateries, and even houses have additional seating rental services. In some big streets where many groups of parades pass, the price to rent seats can range from a few hundred to a million VND.
However, on Ngoc Ha Street (Ba Dinh Ward, Hanoi), Ms. Do Thuy Linh's coffee shop at 108D Ngoc Ha is still open, providing free seats for customers to drink coffee and watch the parade.
According to Ms. Linh, the parade activities are a major event of the country, this is also a time to express gratitude and love for the Fatherland, and free seats, creating conditions for people to comfortably enjoy the atmosphere of the river festival is a way for her family to express that love.

"My family has been doing coffee business in this street for many years. Thanks to the country's peaceful development, we have a prosperous life, so we decided to keep the selling price of family drinks unchanged no matter how many visitors to the parade. Customers coming to my house to see the parade blocks passing here can sit from morning until the end of the parade.
We also have open toilets for people in need. On a big national festival, if I get to contribute a little, it is a very appropriate thing to do," Ms. Linh shared.

Not only at Ms. Linh's store, many restaurants and cafes in the Ngoc Ha street area also offer many beautiful locations for free to those who need to wait to see the parade on August 27.
"The atmosphere of watching the parade here is really great, we can comfortably choose a beautiful place, the host only takes the water fee without charging any additional fees. I was very impressed with the comfort and kindness of Ms. Linh and the people on Ngoc Ha Street," said Ms. Hoang Oanh, who came to watch the parade.

"We really have to go out, join the patriotic community regardless of any circumstances to see the parade groups, feel the kindness and share to see how peaceful and precious it is," said Ms. Dinh Thi Hien, Tu Liem ward, Hanoi.
