Currently, in most communes of Tuyen Quang province, telecommunications infrastructure is increasingly improved in both quality and quantity, which has contributed significantly to the dissemination of policies and laws of the Party and State.
In addition, promoting digital transformation with investment in improving telecommunications infrastructure and information technology, especially in rural areas, where people's living conditions are still difficult, is identified by Tuyen Quang province as a positive solution in reducing information poverty and reducing multidimensional poverty.
For example, in Son Duong area, 100% of communes are currently covered by fiber optic broadband and the Internet. With 213 BTS mobile broadcasting stations in operation, 399/400 villages and residential groups have been connected to fiber optic Internet, reaching a rate of 99.8%.
Commune radio stations that play an important role in disseminating to the people have been applied new technology, upgrading the FM radio system to a smart wireless system, using specialized software such as Adobe Audition, Adobe premiere Pro, etc.
Mr. Duong Van Tuan - Head of the Department of Culture - Social Affairs of Son Duong commune said that thanks to the application of information technology and digital transformation, the editing, production and transmission of news to each village and hamlet has now become flexible and fast.
"Smart devices and the internet bring a new look to grassroots communication work, including propaganda work to guide people on new economic development methods, effective ways to replicate, contributing to reducing the poverty rate in the area," Mr. Tuan informed.
Meanwhile, in Xuan Van commune, in addition to the loudspeaker system, this locality has proactively established Zalo and Facebook groups in the residential community, including a common group of the Commune People's Committee connected with village heads and a group of villages, managed by village heads, directly connected with households. Thanks to that, all information that needs to be notified and propagated to the people is conveyed quickly and effectively.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Xuan Van commune, said that since the village's Zalo group was established, all information has been updated quickly and clearly, so people have a timely grasp of new policies and develop the economy effectively.
"Commune officials and village heads regularly share with groups good and effective ways to look after grapefruit, oranges, and raise livestock and poultry for people to refer to. Thanks to that, I can proactively prevent diseases in livestock, limit flu and epidemics. I and many other households in the village have had a stable income and have escaped poverty for the past 2 years," Ms. Hue shared.
Over the past 5 years, Tuyen Quang province has spent more than 15.3 billion VND to implement the Information Poverty Reduction Project under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction. All levels have organized 28 training courses on guiding the implementation of poverty reduction content on information for nearly 2,136 delegates who are commune civil servants and commune radio and television station officers.
In addition, Tuyen Quang province also organized the compilation and development of over 99.6 thousand leaflets/tael, distributed to districts, communes and villages in the province to serve as propaganda documents on the National Target Program. Organize to promote information and propaganda work in many forms on poverty reduction and the National Target Program in the province.
Information communication and poverty reduction work has contributed significantly to helping Tuyen Quang province effectively implement the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction. According to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2021-2025, the poverty rate in the whole province has decreased sharply from 23.45% to 10.19%.
In the period of 2025-2030, Tuyen Quang province sets a target of reducing the poverty rate by 3-4% each year with many synchronous solutions to be implemented.
