On January 5th, information from the People's Committee of Phuc Hoa commune, on January 3rd, during the process of transporting sugarcane through Na Rieng hamlet, due to narrow roads and prolonged heavy rain, the soil on both sides of the road was weak, and a sugarcane truck unfortunately overturned.
The accident caused the vehicle and all the sugarcane on the truck to sink and fall into the negative taluy, estimated damage of about 70 million VND.
After receiving the news, commune police and militia forces were present at the scene, coordinating to support people to overcome the consequences.
The forces directly went down to the location where the truck overturned to join people in collecting and carrying sugarcane ashore, bringing it back to the truck so that people could soon stabilize transportation.
The timely and responsible involvement of the Commune Police and the Self-Defense Militia has contributed to minimizing damage, while spreading a beautiful image of the spirit of "Serving the People", affirming the core role of the armed forces at the grassroots level.
