On October 2, information from the City Police said that after storm No. 10, on October 1, the water level of the Thai Binh River suddenly rose, causing serious flooding in riverside areas in Hai Duong ward. Many households could not react in time, and their assets were at risk of being swept away or damaged.
In the face of the urgent situation, Hai Duong Ward Police quickly coordinated with the ward military forces and functional units to deploy support for people to move their assets to a safe place. The forces mobilized human resources and specialized vehicles to approach deeply flooded areas, helping people evacuate necessary furniture and belongings.
At the same time, dangerous flooded areas are deployed with forces on duty 24/7, warning and preventing people from moving through high-risk areas, minimizing damage after natural disasters.

In Hop Tien commune, the rapidly rising water level of Kinh Thay river also caused flooding, making it unsafe for people and property, especially directly affecting cage fish farming households in the area.
Immediately after receiving the information, Hop Tien Commune Police quickly deployed forces, vehicles, and working groups to flood-prone areas to support people in moving their assets, reinforcing aquaculture areas, and implementing measures to prevent water from rising.

In Chi Linh ward, where many households live and raise fish in cages on Kinh Thay river, the Waterway Police Team No. 3 under the Traffic Police Department, City Police coordinated with Chi Linh Ward Police and Chu Van An Ward Police to help people clean up, salvage, tie up, and reinforce the cage system to prevent high tides to stabilize production and aquaculture.
