On the morning of January 6, Ha Long ward organized a conference to announce the decision to establish the ward Health Station and personnel work.
Ha Long Ward Health Station is a public non-business unit directly under Ha Long Ward People's Committee, with the function of providing and implementing professional and technical services in the fields of: disease prevention; medical examination and treatment; management and improvement of community health; protection and care for mothers and children; care for the elderly and people with disabilities; social protection; population; food safety; pharmaceuticals; medical equipment and other medical services according to the provisions of law.
Also at the conference, the Ha Long Ward Party Committee announced the Decisions on receiving, assigning and appointing officials for the Ha Long Ward Health Station.
Previously, on January 5, Uong Bi ward organized a conference to announce the decision on the establishment of Uong Bi Ward Health Station and personnel work.
Accordingly, the Ward Health Station is under the direct direction and management of Uong Bi Ward People's Committee regarding organizational structure, personnel, finance, and assets; and at the same time under the guidance and professional inspection of the Department of Health and relevant specialized agencies.
Cam Pha Ward has also just announced the decision to establish Cam Pha Ward Health Station, which is a public non-business unit, with legal status, seal and private account, directly under Cam Pha Ward People's Committee.

Thus, after the Quang Ninh Department of Health organized the handover ceremony of 55 health stations from the Department of Health to the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones for management on December 31, 2025, communes, wards, and special zones simultaneously proceeded to establish health stations.
According to Decision No. 5006/QD-UBND (dated December 30, 2025) of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, from January 1, 2026, all 55 health stations and 92 commune, ward, and special zone health stations in the province will be handed over by the Department of Health in their original state to the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones for management.
The contents of handover include: Staff of civil servants assigned in 2025, the number of civil servants and contract workers currently available, finance, assets, records, documents and related contents in accordance with regulations and management decentralization.
After receiving, the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones are responsible for directly and comprehensively managing health stations in the area, ensuring stable and effective operating conditions; and closely coordinate with the health sector in professional work, preventive medicine, epidemic prevention and control and deployment of health programs in the area.
The Department of Health continues to perform the function of professional management, professional guidance, technical supervision; and at the same time coordinates with localities in training and fostering human resources, implementing health programs and investing in facilities and equipment to improve the quality of primary health care for people.
