Faced with this situation, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police synchronously implemented solutions to ensure traffic order and safety (TTATGT), from propaganda, patrol, control, traffic regulation to exploiting surveillance cameras, adjusting traffic lights and organizing traffic.
In the field of roads, the Traffic Police Department focuses on grasping the situation at gateway routes, national highways, routes connecting with airports, train stations, bus stations, ports, amusement parks and areas with high concentration of people.
Traffic police forces are arranged appropriately according to each area and time; proactively divert traffic, regulate remotely, handle incidents, and prevent prolonged congestion.
In particular, during the activities to celebrate National Day, the Traffic Police Department proactively deploys plans to divert and regulate traffic in the fireworks display area and adjacent roads.
Traffic organization is aimed at ensuring safety for people participating in activities, while limiting vehicle concentration and congestion. The Traffic Police force regularly grasps the situation, regulates traffic in accordance with actual developments and promptly handles arising situations.
Along with the forces directly on duty on the road, the traffic surveillance camera system continues to be exploited to monitor the situation of vehicles, detect early congestion points, incidents or unusual developments. On that basis, functional forces proactively arrange forces and deploy appropriate handling plans.

Functional forces focus on checking the safety conditions of vehicles, drivers, the number of people allowed to be transported, life-saving equipment, drowning rescue and other safety assurance conditions.
At the same time, the Traffic Police Department combines propaganda and reminds people traveling by waterway to comply with the regulations on using life jackets and absolutely not to be subjective when operating on rivers, canals, and ditches.
For the railway sector, the traffic police force continues to inspect and grasp the situation at routes, stations, level crossings and areas at risk of unsafety.
