When these two ports are put into operation, the demand for freight transportation from these two ports to Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding areas is very high.
According to the plan, the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway will be completed by the end of 2025. People here hope that the railway to Ca Mau will soon be planned so that a few decades later they can board a train along the length of the country.
